Essential requirements;

• Willing to work Saturday 3-4 hours + 2 to 3 shifts in week day.
• Be able to do call in to work shifts “call in” (covering sick / annual leave of other staff)
• Recommendation letter from most reason employer.
• Excellent communication skills & Good customer service skills.
• Effective time management & organisational skills, with the ability to manage several tasks at one time. (Multitasking ability in the rush hour or two)
• Good computer skills
• Strong personal skills to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• A pleasant phone manner
• Own car and diving licence.

1. First aid
2. Triage

We are looking for an AHPRA registered, two years or more EXPERIENCED General Practice Nurse who can fulfil nursing role by demonstrating the following essential requirements.

Essential requirements;

• Applicants must be a Registered Nurse, hold current AHPRA registration.
• Must have minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a GP setting.
• Be able to work in both practices (Rutherford and Cessnock)
• Maintaining practice accreditation
• GP Management plans, care planning and health assessments
• Processing of recalls, patients results, triaging
• Assist patients to set up eHealth records
• Wound Management, ear syringing
• Child + Adult immunisation, travel vaccination
• Assisting minor procedures (eg; pap smears, mirenas etc…)
• Liaises with doctors and receptionists.
• Stock monitoring and ordering
• Best Practice software experience.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a small team is essential.
• Help out in reception work in the rush hour or two.
